CALL FOR PAPERS, SYMPOSIA, ROUND TABLES, WORKSHOPS
2010 Annual Congress, Concordia University

ALL SUBMITTERS:

All submitters must be current members of the CPA. On-line payment is available through the CPA web site – www.acpcpa.ca. All congress participants must pay congress registration fees to the CFHSS and to the CPA.

Some travel expenses might be eligible for reimbursement. Please visit our web site.

SUBMITTED PAPERS:

All texts must be submitted in French or in English through EasyChair.org. In order to submit a text, authors must be registered on the www.easychair.org web site. Registration is free and permanent. The submission form for the congress is at www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=cpa2010. The deadline for submitting is midnight Sunday January 17, 2010. Please state clearly in which discipline (listed below) the paper should be submitted. In case of doubt, please contact the Programme Chair. Papers submitted by fax or mail will not be considered.

Limit of two papers per author.

Limit of one paper in any one discipline.

Each paper must be prepared for double-blind refereeing.

The text must not exceed 4,000 words; papers exceeding the length requirement will not be considered. The word count does not include the bibliography or notes.

The submission must include an abstract with a maximum of 75 words.

Please give a short title.

Students submitting papers should identify themselves as such in order to be eligible for the Student Essay Prize.

Individuals interested in commenting on papers should contact the Executive Director by 17 January 2010. Please indicate if you are willing to comment in English on papers delivered in French.

Speakers and commentators will most likely be asked to chair an adjacent session.

SYMPOSIA, ROUND TABLES AND WORKSHOPS:

Proposals for symposia, round tables and workshops must be submitted by 30 November, 2009. Please include a list of confirmed participants and titles of their talk; all participating Canadian philosophers must be members of the CPA.

All proposals for symposia, round tables and workshops must be forwarded electronically, .RTF preferred, to the Executive Director (acpa@ustpaul.ca).

Please state clearly in which discipline (listed below) the paper should be submitted. In case of doubt, please contact the Programme Chair.

Please note that all symposia must include an element in the other official language.
