CALL FOR PAPERS
University of King's College, Halifax, Nova Scotia October 15-16, 2010
We are pleased to invite papers on the topic "The Individual in Science and Philosophy". We interpret the topic broadly, to include historical, scientific, epistemological, social, or moral philosophy. Following ARPA tradition, papers not related to the main topic are also invited.
Please e-mail abstracts of 100 - 200 words to: stephen.boos@ukings.ns.ca Include your name, contact information, institutional affiliation, as well as a (short) title with your abstract.

Robert A. Wilson, Professor of Philosophy, University of Alberta
Title: "Mind Spread"
The talk will focus on contemporary debates over the extended mind
thesis that crosses between philosophy of mind, cognitive science
(especially situated cognition), and philosophy of biology.
