DESCRIPTION: Conference Details We are pleased to host an independent in-
 person meeting at Dalhousie University in Halifax\, 6-9 June 2026. 
 Following strong support from CPA members for an in-person gathering\, we 
 have organized this independent meeting in collaboration with the 
 Dalhousie Philosophy Department and Dalhousie Conference Services. 
 Although the Canadian Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences 
 (CFHSS) is not organizing a Congress event in 2026\, this independent 
 meeting enables us to continue our tradition of bringing together 
 philosophers from across Canada and beyond. Partner Organizations We are 
 excited to be joined by three other FHSS member organizations\, creating 
 opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration: CSHPS (Canadian Society
  for the History and Philosophy of Science\, meeting 4-6 June) CSHPM 
 (Canadian Society for the History and Philosophy of Mathematics\, meeting 
 4-6 June) CSA (Canadian Society for Aesthetics\, meeting 7-8 June) CJMA-
 ACJM (Canadian Jacques Maritain Association) CS-IVR (Canadian Section of 
 the International Association for Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy)
  CSCP-SCPC (Canadian Society of Christian Philosophers) CSSPE (Canadian 
 Society for the Study of Practical Ethics The overlapping schedules will 
 enable jointly organized sessions and provide many of the collaborative 
 benefits traditionally associated with Congress meetings. Updates and
