Trent University invites applications for three twelve-month limited-term appointments (LTAs) in the Department of Philosophy at the rank of Assistant Professor commencing August 15, 2019. These appointments are subject to budgetary approval.

Candidates are expected to have a completed Ph.D., demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level, and an active research program. Each successful candidate will teach seven half-credit courses—three in the fall semester, three in the winter semester, and one six-week course in the summer of 2020. We are seeking candidates to teach the following combination of courses in the fall and winter semesters with assignments for summer 2020 to be determined.
