The applicant should have a PhD or the dissertation very near completion. Teaching load: three courses per term. The primary responsibility of the successful candidate will be to teach a combination of the following: Introductory Philosophy; Philosophy and Feminism; Critical Thinking; Philosophy of Human Nature; Special Topics (including Intercultural Philosophy); and Ethics in Health and Medicine.
The Department is seeking candidates who are committed to contributing to StFX’s priorities of equity, diversity, and inclusion. Demonstrated ability in attracting underrepresented groups of students to the program is an asset.
