Applicants are required to submit the following (all documents in a single PDF):
- a cover letter with, when applicable, an indication of Canadian citizenship or permanent residency, and an indication of what courses they would be interested to teach;
- a current Curriculum Vitae listing their degrees earned, and outlining their academic contributions (i.e., evidence of effective teaching, research, and/or service);
- a teaching dossier which includes: (1) a statement of teaching philosophy, (2) a list of university courses taught previously and/or instructional experiences, (3) course outlines from prior teaching experiences, (4) documentation providing evidence of teaching effectiveness, which may contain but is not restricted to peer and student evaluations of teaching, or evidence of inclusive, accessible, and diverse approaches to teaching, if applicable.
Applicants should also arrange to have:
- at least two letters of reference to be submitted directly, by the application deadline, from referees who have knowledge of the candidate’s teaching and/or research (clarifying in what capacity) to: philosophy@uwinnipeg.ca.
